To conduct our research on PepsiCo sustainable practices, our team adopted a case study method. Data was obtained from secondary sources such as: PepsiCo 2016 Sustainability Report, PepsiCo 2016 Annual Report and shadow reports from credible media reports. First, a profound research regarding the trace of PepsiCo sustainability practices and its performance within the food & beverage industry was conducted utilizing PepsiCo 2025 Performance with a Purpose Agenda. Trough the data collected, our team investigated PepsiCo compliance with GRI standards and the important attributes within the Materiality Map. Second, our team reviewed various shadow reports to ensure that the data collected was not biased. As the data collected is closely dissect, conclusions were drawn on the data collected. Lastly, the data collected conveyed and understood, conclusion were drawn to further understand the linkage of the 3 pillars (People, Planet, Profits) of sustainability integrate creating shared value.
